Biography

Prior to joining the firm, Christopher B. Newbern worked at a large Atlanta law firm representing insurance companies in motor vehicle liability, premises liability, and products liability cases. He also defended automobile and property insurance carriers in a variety of coverage and commercial litigation disputes, including property damage claims involving theft loss, fire loss, vandalism loss, hail and wind loss, water loss, and business interruption.

Chris graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2011, after obtaining his undergraduate degree in English from the University of Georgia in 2008. While in law school, Chris served as the Executive Vice Chair of the Mock Trial Board, and was selected into the Lumpkin Inn of Court and the National Order of the Barristers.

Chris is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the Middle and Northern District Courts of Georgia.
